"Property was nice but definitely an older property. Run down. Needs a face lift and upgrade. We upgraded to the premium room and it was just ok. It was 2 stories which’s worked for us but probably should have been noted. It was kinda inconvenient having the 2 nd floor, getting the suitcases up there and constantly going up and down. "The hotel appears to be fairly new. The room smelt of fresh paint, clean and a good size. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom and kitchenette area was a good size. The location is approximately 15 minute taxi drive from the airport, which was perfect, especially with an early morning flight. The only disappointment is no onsite restaurant. "I booked this location strictly because day spa advertises a hamman/whirlpool, but it’s not working. You don’t find that out until you’re at your treatment ready to use it. They advertise it like it’s still available.The swimming pool looks nothing like the picture, the whole outside pool area is torn up. "The staff is super friendly and helpful. Rooms are all upstairs with no elevator. This was a perfect stay for a night between islands. We slept comfy with Air conditioning. We had a small breakfast included with toasts, cheeses, butter, jams, and juice. It was also located in the heart of Papeete so you can walk to the brewery, food trucks, or the market at any time. Would highly recommend this place for anyone on a budget or anyone in between islands for a night or two. "
