"First time stayed at this hotel in St. Jacobs. Location is excellent. Places we wanted to visit were just steps away. Ample self-parking spaces on-site. Very convenient. Staff is very informative. Dining room staff is courteous and efficient to bring out fresh batch of cooked or baked food. One of the best self-serve continental breakfast. "Unfortunately, we found bed bugs in our room shortly after midnight. Personally, I would not stay here again for that reason. The room was also in what I would describe as a rundown state. It just needs to be renovated after years of use."

"The pool and slide were fabulous.Both my wife twice and myself once went down the slide(my wife is 66 as am I(67 August 18th). The breakfast was over the top.Everything at 8 am was hot.The eggs,sausage,Danish toast apple and orange juice as we both had breakfast.The bananas were fresh also. The room was clean and well kept. Handicapped Accessible Parking was open to us when we drove in and off loaded.We only had to park two spots over when we left.So the walk wasn't a challenge for me. The staff...

"When attending the pool at 9pm there were no towels available on the towel rack and the ones we could see being used by other guests were extremly small and thin. That could be improved. The adjacent lounge should be available for guest to sit in outside of Breakfast and Dinner and drinks could be offered to improve the amenity."
