"The steps up to the rooms are quite steep. Room 21 was very small; it is much smaller than any room we’ve stayed in before. Managing two large suitcases required strategic piecemeal unpacking and repacking. The twin beds were comfortable and the air conditioning was excellent."

The staff were more than helpful - I had to leave each morning by 07:15, but breakfast was advertised as 07:30 onwards...the manager arranged for the kitchen to open @ 06:30, just for me, so I could have a cooked breakfast before departure each day! "This location was unusually nice. Yes, the rooms are above a pub, but it was very quiet, at least while we were there. The staff were very nice and helpful. The parking is a bit of a walk, down the street at the local race track, which has a very secure locked gate to their lot. It was included in the price and wasn't an issue for us. The breakfast was extra special. A wide variety of items to choose from. I would return just to sit and have breakfast again. Extremely pleasantly surprised by...

"No parking at this property is an issue and paying for parking only adds to the cost. Rooms were a good size but the beds are small considering the space that there is. Quilts are great if the weather is cold but the room is warm and even with aircon on and set at 20 degrees we were hot. Ugly cumbersome mugs to drink a cup of tea from. Breakfast is average."

"We had a love 2 night stay in The Old Coffee Tavern. The staff are all very friendly and helpful The bed was very comfortable and a good size, we both slept really well Good generous tea, coffee and milk. Normally you just get enough for 2 teas or coffees each but we had about twice this which was really good. The bar has a good atmosphere with good selection of food and drink. It does need a general overhaul with the skirting coming away in some areas and a general redecoration"

"Lovely clean room, included fridge, ironing board, iron as well as the usual things you'd expect like tea/coffee facilities, desk, TV, toiletries, hair dryer. Comfy bed. I'd recommend to stay here but if you're a light sleeper you may need ear plugs as occasional traffic can be heard. Excellent breakfast choice, cooked breakfast made fresh to order. Would definitely stay here again "

"Room was clean and nicely presented. There is significant building work taking place so restaurant not open (which they did pre-warn me about,), and skeleton staff. However, the staff were super helpful and friendly. Everything closes at 8pm ( bar, front gates etc) so not a place to stay if you are looking to relax of an evening outside of your room. "

"I arrived at the property, which is a self check in in facility. I had recieved no notofication of codes for entry so had to call the help number. I was told my room number and recieved a text with code. On locating the room, it was already open and had not been serviced after the previous occupant. i called help again and the needed to wait around 30 minutes for the arrival of staff and the room prepared for me. Once i got in the room, the door handle fell off on the inside. Not impressed at...
