"The property’s location was excellent—right on the beach and about a 10-minute drive to Jaco. It had a charming old-world feel, and the staff were friendly. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives ended. The property is in serious need of renovation, with many things visibly falling apart. Some units lacked hot water, and while the service was polite, it was very slow and eventually got the job done. "Pros: Kind, responsive property managers, close to beach and local food nearby. Cons: Roaches. I was beyond mortified to have had my leftovers in a to-go box in the refrigerator and upon opening to Re-heat a cockroach about 1 1/2 - 2 inches long scurried out!!! Everything we had, that we’d opened we threw out. Upon leaving the room, at about 3:45a we were packing and cleaning our dishes and saw again baby roaches rushing to hide into the walls which confirmed there are roaches in the unit....
