"It's a great location. Quiet, but near the shops and seafront. Very helpful staff and a comfortable room. Not a big room, but what you'd expect for a period property like this. The place itself is very stylish and well decorated."

"My wife and I had a wonderful stay. The apartment was clean, comfortable and very conveniently located. The only tiny, tiny complaint I can make is that the bed was really firm. However, I would stay there again. Everything else was great."

"I loved it! The room was gorgeous, spacious and just right for my sister and I on my birthday eve. Breakfast was great and I am pleased. I didn’t realise it was above a pub but that wasn’t a problem. Free parking and 10mins drive to city centre. The AC in the room wasn’t functional but there was a back up fan that helped somewhat."

"This property was just as described, nicely decorated, clean and comfortable. Great location only a few minutes walk from the pier and the centre of Brighton. Only drawback for us as a mixed family group, there were no curtains / blinds in the bedroom, so no privacy. Overall very good value for money."

The wet room style of bathroom meant that shower water often pooled by the loo, (whose seat was a bit loose). I stayed for two nights and despite the notice that my room would be serviced from 10 am, when I got back to my room at 12.30 on my second day it had not been touched. "Great stay as always; it has gone through changes and upgrades over the past few years, since Tony sold up, but remains the same perfect Brighton base and not just for the LBQT community. Crew always friendly, rooms well appointed and no where I would rather be than on the terrace, when the suns shining."

"The location was great, with everything we wanted to see walkable distance including supermarket and restaurants. We had the loft room, which is up quite a lot of stairs. Not an issue for us but may be for some people. The room was clean and tidy and had tea and coffee and a little fridge. Would stay there again happily."
