"Our room was unclean. Hair all over the bathroom and dirt on the floor. We had a large centipede in our room and when we asked for housekeeping to clean and maintenance to remove the insect, we were told we were not a priority as there were 2 weddings happening. We checked out after only 2 of our 4 nights.
Amy C. Who is a front desk employee was so kind and empathetic and saw to a refund of the nights we did not stay. All other staff were extremely uncaring and unwilling to help the...

"Basically a trucker stop. Bathroom in our room was clean-ish, if you dont mine other people's hair on the floor, in the shower, or on the door frame. Stains on the inside of the comforter and dried food in the in-room mini fridge. We stayed two nights for a wedding and honestly would not come back. If you are passing through and need a place to sleep/showerz this will do otherwise pass on it."

"I don’t understand the terrible ratings people have left. This was a wonderful stay. The owner was so friendly, sweet and helpful. The check in process was simple. When we got to our room we were thrilled. It was spotlessly clean , the beds were super comfortable ,nice linens ,more television stations than we have at home . The air conditioning was cold and not too noisy. The bathroom was also immaculate with plenty of water pressure and hot water in the shower. The location is great. We were sad...

"Very nice facility with clean rooms and a great bar/grill/pub attached. One drawback was it was quite noisy with multiple guests having multiple dogs. You could hear the running and playing in the room above us which is kind of expected in a facility of this age with wooden floors. This will not keep us from staying here again on our next visit to Maggie Valley."
