"We had a very nice room for three nights. Bed was comfortable. A bit of noise from a wedding as we faced the car park. We ate twice in the restaurant and the food was delicious. We used the pool one day but there was confusion as to whether there was a charge for this. Would stay again."

"Lovely warm reception when I arrived, which was nice and the staff were very helpful throughout my stay. The outside area around the hotel was very neglected, which didn’t give a great impression but the rooms were very clean, if a little tired and in need of some re-furnishing. For the price paid, and the cleanliness of the room, I would definitely stay here again. Would just be nice if the area around the hotel was a bit tidier as a wrecked car was even sitting in the parking area around the back."

"We have been here a couple of times and its still the same without any updating which was a little disappointing. Breakfast was disappointing as it was a buffet, on previous occasion it was a served breakfast which was much better. Would still go again as it is so convenient for Rutland Water, that would be the only reason to visit."

He’s been working on the hotel so it was a little tired and is still a work in process. But what has been done so far looks great. Short walk from the wonderful Rutland water, great for walks. "
