"Great location in Venice, a short walk to St Mark’s Square. Room was consistent with Venetian style decor. Also overlooks the canal and a bridge which makes it a wonderful place for taking photos. Opening the door through the app was not straightforward but there is option to get a physical key instead. Check in was done online and was hassle free. Room was ready when we arrived. Would stay here again."

"This is a must stay if you’re going to Venice and seeking a luxury hotel. The rooms are beautiful, as well as the hotel overall. There is a courtyard that felt so indulgent after a day of exploring. The location allowed us to pop in and out and explore at our own pace. While all of that was excellent, the main reason you should stay here is because of the service. Everyone was attentive and truly made our stay a 5-star one. From Ivan, Maria, Filipo and Buba as well as the rest of the staff...

Check-in was smooth, and the staff was very welcoming. While the room was small, it was comfortable and clean. The breakfast offered a great variety of options. I would not hesitate to stay at Hotel Montecarlo again in the future. "
