"The room smells like it has a bad drainage system. Once we enter the room and it smells like the toilet has been backed up. The fabric spray provided was useless. Attitude of staff were mixed, some discrimination were definitely present. Felt harrassed by the staff to settle the bill due to deciding to have extra guest in the room which we also had already decided to pay for. "

"Really enjoyed the 4 nights we spent at the Ace Hotel Kyoto. I had stayed in the NYC Ace Hotel before, but this one was much better. I loved the decor and the cool architecture of the building, and the hospitality was consistently great. I really enjoyed the healthy breakfast options too. The gym was a standout — much nicer and better equipped than most hotels. Would happily stay again."

"Mimaru Nijo castle was a great place to stay if you’re travelling with 4 people. It has spacious room area for your luggages. Although, there’s only one shower and toilet area, which might cause slight traffic jam in the morning/evening.
