"The location, just one block from Kyoto Central Station, is exceptionally convenient. The hotel is immaculately clean. While the staff’s English knowledge is somewhat limited, their warmth, attentiveness, and willingness to assist more than compensate, resulting in truly outstanding service. The highlights of our stay were the traditional Japanese breakfast and the experience of sleeping on tatami, both of which added a memorable touch to our stay. "Loved this traditional stay in Kyoto, the breakfast was great and the tub in the bathroom was so relaxing after a long day of walking. The only thing is if you don’t have a car rental it can be tricky planning your day based on the bus routes. The bus stop is only a minute walk away but if you miss a bus you may have to wait a while for the next one. Overall loved staying here!"
