"Room: Was very clean and room service came by every day to clean the room as well as replace towels everyday. Unfortunately our first unit we stayed in had construction actively nearby in the mornings but after multiple complaints we were able to change units to the other side of the resort."

"I rarely write reviews but felt this one was needed. I have vacationed at various resorts throughout Mexico for over 28 years. This was my first solo trip and as a 62 year old woman had some hesitancy. But I felt safe, cared about and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. This resort was excellent! The check-in was easy, the room excellent and amenties great. The buffet had great food but the reservation restaurants were the best. The Blue Moon was my favorite. I prefer an early dinner so getting a table at 6pm was no problem. The staff were very nice. Shout out to Gustavo, Mama Ceita and Moses. Awesome entertainment staff. I loved the daily activities and would only suggest to add more to the days that are lacking them. The only drawback was the seaweed on the beach. This was a HUGE problem but not the fault of the resort. They did their best to keep it cleaned where they could. The smell was HORRIFIC but the breeze from the ocean kept it managable and you got use to it. Loved the wild animals. I can only say that when people do not read the signs and "feed them", they do create injury but that is the fault of the individual who got too close. Observe them from a distance and admire their funny antics. The pools were great. I love that there are 2 large pools, one with a more relaxed vibe and the other a more party vibe. A good mix. Resort catered to 40-60 year olds. Excellent mix."

"The food was great. The staff were friendly. It was a more mellow hotel and could have used more of an up-beat vibe. This hotel would be great if you are looking to just relax. Not a ton of variety in the food options."

"We absolutely loved this resort and will be returning! It is a smaller resort which is what we were looking for. The food was great and there were plenty of options at all of the restaurants and the buffet. We especially enjoyed the sushi bar that was located at the rooftop pool. All of the staff were exceptional but we had the most fun with Sebastian at the beach bar! I loved the architecture of the buildings and everything was kept spotless. All bathrooms were in extremely clean conditions at all times. There were bathrooms in convenient locations around the pools also. The beach is small but there were plenty of chairs and we were able to get into the water and enjoy it. It is a little rocky in places. Seaweed wasn't an issue. I think that the pier keeps it from floating up onto this beach. This is the first resort I have been to that I definitely plan on returning to."

"Family of 5, with a 6 yr old, 5 yr old, and 2 yr old... we thought this property was just perfect for us. The food was surprisingly good - well seasoned at every location. The pools and waterslides were great. And the kids loved the random daily activities and night shows. A few points of improvement: there was cat poo that didn't get cleaned for a few days on the stairs, and a baby pooed in the shipwreck pool on our last day and we had to leave that area... but otherwise, a great trip. We would recommend to another family around similar ages. We would not recommend the property to couples (unless you go to the adults only section, but the buffet is still filled with young kids), and would not recommend to a group of young adults as there is zero disco or nightlife other than the PG evening activities that end pretty early."

"The property itself was well maintained and visually very nice. However, our overall experience was somewhat disappointing, especially as a family with a toddler. There were very limited activities for families beyond spending time at the pools, so the resort felt lacking in options for young children. The telecom/operator service was also difficult to reach, as calls were rarely answered. We were also unable to enjoy the private beach during our stay due to a significant amount of seaweed. In addition, we had informed the resort that we were visiting to celebrate our toddler’s birthday, but the birthday arrangement was sent one day early. While we appreciated the gesture, it felt poorly coordinated, and we had expected a more thoughtful effort given the occasion. Overall, the property is well kept, but the service and family-focused experience did not fully meet our expectations."
