"This isn't our first time here: We've consistently had problems getting our luggage to the front of the hotel – and the staff just shrugs. At these prices and with such poor service, you'd expect at least a bit more friendliness. And you have to pay an extra 25 pounds per day for room cleaning. Awful! Otherwise: good location, good room amenities, spacious rooms. But: Give your staff some training in friendliness!"

"Good sized rooms comfortable and a bonus the hot tub! Only downside they have extended the hot tub use to midnight from the previous 10.30pm cut off so I didn’t appreciate the room above me in the hot tub until 11.30pm it was noisy. Good quiet location."

My room on the top floor was gorgeous and a decent size. Depending which room, you may have to navigate stairs, but that was no issue for me. The huge bathtub was heaven for me, as I prefer baths to shower. Someone else might not like that. "Clean room, just a little too small for a standard queen bed. Only two feet from the bed and the tv on the opposite wall. Small chair and a table on the side...that makes it hard to turn around. Or work on ya computer..unless u sit on ya bed... house keeping not great. Everything else was good or up to standard"

"The service of the staff is exquisite, downright perfect. The room itself is small, but cleverly done. Bear in mind these ancient townhouses are limited when it comes to space. But they are able to fit everything you need in the rooms, and even make it look fashionable. Many nice little perks. If you are like me and think the bathrooms are the most important part of a hotel room: you will give this a 1/5.
