"It was a good hotel to spend a night in. It’s roughly 6 minutes from Bayswater tube station. There are lots of restaurants and shops nearby. The room was small, but it’s London so that’s expected. The bed was very comfortable and the room was exceptionally clean. The bathroom smelt weird, almost like something was coming through the extractor fan. Aircon was provided which was great. "It's not much to look at from the outside with steps up to the narrow door which made carrying large heavy luggage a challenge but we were quickly greeted by a very helpful staff member who assumed all luggage duties. This is a small but beautifully decorated town house with a small elevator, which was handy as i was so tired from a long drive. Our room, 38, was beautifully decorated, a bit worn in places but very comfortable with a sitting area and large king bed. A separate loo with custom...

"There was confusion regarding check in as they don't have a front desk. Was unsure how to access the unit until the moment we arrived. Had to ring a doorbell and an employee came. They then give you codes to get in. Not sure what would happen after hours or late on weekends as I don't think anyone is there. Other than that the neighborhood is good and safe. The unit was very clean but very basic. Could have used a coffee table. The roll out "bed" was horrible though. It more of a roll out chair....

"Extreme climb in very hot weather to get into the apartment in 90 degree heat. This apartment would be very challenging for some older renters, but all else was fine. Great deck (cool in the intense heat - nice!) and all else very professional. Excellent location."

"The good news: this hotel is in a great location near Hyde Park and Notting Hill, and the outside of the property looks nice. Now for the bad: the lobby smells of cheap perfume, it has no English charm (or staff) and my room was so small that it was like a coffin. Truly the smallest room I have ever stayed in (and I have been to 48 countries). Certainly not worth the 200 quid!"
