"Excellent property in downtown Victoria. Such a nice room. Offered as an upgrade. Great staff, but the worlds cheapest iron( taped together and leaks) and ironing board. $15 at Walmart. Minor detail. Thank you"
"We stayed here as a stop over after a late flight in to Victoria. It was convenient. Allowed late check in. Staff were very helpful and welcoming. Airline lost our luggage and the staff helped us with phone calls etc and allowed us to check out slightly later. Rooms were clean. It's an old building but it's looked after well. Lots of character. We didn't have any food there but had a pub which served food. Would happily stay again. "

"We had a special request at check in to get a walk in shower due to an injury. They went above and beyond to accommodate. Rooms are recently updated, spacious, clean and modern. Excellent location near town."
"The staff is exceptionally friendly and hospitable who gave great suggestions and served an incredible breakfast each morning. The house is a beautiful old home with lovely plants on the deck where we had breakfast each morning. The dining room is also lovely. Marketa’s is convenient to all the downtown sites and port.
