As a Gold member, I was disappointed with the inconsistency in how my benefits were handled. The front desk agent who checked me in offered me a $36 credit, but when I later spoke with a different front desk agent, I was told the credit could not be honored because I had booked through Expedia. It wasn't really about the $36 - it was the lack of consistency between the two employees and, more importantly, the manner in which the second agent responded that left a poor impression.
There was also a cleanliness issue in the room. The in-room coffee machine had a noticeable layer of dust on it, making it look like it hadn't been cleaned in quite some time.
Overall, the location is a definite plus, but the inconsistent customer service and attention to room cleanliness could be better."
