"Toilet had problems. Drinking Water bottles never arrived at the room as front desk said it would. No parking for SUVs so had to find a private lot to park at. Bathroom was so tiny couldn’t move in it much less have 2 people use it at the same time. I could go on but will stop. It needs a big remodel, it’s old and needs work."

"There was a room down the hall that kept slamming their door and being really loud in the hallway. I called and complained for 2 hours and nothing happened. Upon checkout I was told that there was inly a $100 hold on my credit card, but when I checked my credit card there were 2 pending charelges of $100 each."

"The staff asked us to return after an hour to check in to avoid additional $50. We came back after an hour and spoke to a different staff. The staff was pouting and told us to come back again after an hour! We told he the conversation we had earlier and she decided to then help us check in when we told her that…still pouting, not accommodating and told us that they might not have a room clean for us but he handed us the keycard anyways after checking us in."

"There should be bars or rails in the shower for safety. The kitchen amenities need refreshing. Not enough cutlery etc, and very poor quality. The living room area could use some colour - it is very sterile in appearance. "

"Coldest room we've ever stayed in! Did receive extra blankets and then a portable heater but even with the thermostat set to 30C cold wind blew in from a loose door adjacent to an old balcony.Bathroom facilities were quite old and the hairdryer failed on our last morning. Breakfast was OK and most of the staff apologetic but we will never stay in the Chelsea Hotel again!"

"The room overall was clean, but there was a giant water stain on the ceiling, one of the tiles when walking into the bathroom was chipped (and the broken piece was left off to the side), and the vinyl player didn’t work. I LOVED that the entire bathroom was a wetroom (not sure why more places doesn’t do this) and down the hall there was a place to grab our own cutlery/dishware/linens if needed. The iPad the room provided was GIGANTIC and worked wonderfully. The location was a 10/10!"

"Room seemed outdated. 1 faucet out of our 2 did not work properly. When you would turn it on it would just spray everywhere out of control. Air system was noisy. Walls/wallpaper were not in good condition"
