"I’m very pleased with the front desk staff hospitality, especially Henry who was very friendly, approachable, and thoughtful. The location was pleasantly situated where we needed to be. Parking was very convenient. I did find stains on the linens which I’m sure it was an oversight by the housekeeping team. Overall I am satisfied with my stay experience and would return another time."

"The hotel staff was friendly, and the breakfast options were exceptional. But I left very frustrated overall and it was not worth the cost. The parking garage wasn’t working when we arrived, which incurred extra fees. The elevators were painfully slow, often leading to 10 minute waits. The room itself was very tiny, making it difficult to manage with 2 adults and 2 young children. Our window was closed off due to construction equipment blocking any view. Then were the neighbours. Due to the poor sealing around the main door, you could hear everyone and everything in the hall; from screaming kids to the party groups. Overall, a very suboptimal stay."

"There was a room down the hall that kept slamming their door and being really loud in the hallway. I called and complained for 2 hours and nothing happened. Upon checkout I was told that there was inly a $100 hold on my credit card, but when I checked my credit card there were 2 pending charelges of $100 each."

"There should be bars or rails in the shower for safety. The kitchen amenities need refreshing. Not enough cutlery etc, and very poor quality. The living room area could use some colour - it is very sterile in appearance. "

"Coldest room we've ever stayed in! Did receive extra blankets and then a portable heater but even with the thermostat set to 30C cold wind blew in from a loose door adjacent to an old balcony.Bathroom facilities were quite old and the hairdryer failed on our last morning. Breakfast was OK and most of the staff apologetic but we will never stay in the Chelsea Hotel again!"

"The room overall was clean, but there was a giant water stain on the ceiling, one of the tiles when walking into the bathroom was chipped (and the broken piece was left off to the side), and the vinyl player didn’t work. I LOVED that the entire bathroom was a wetroom (not sure why more places doesn’t do this) and down the hall there was a place to grab our own cutlery/dishware/linens if needed. The iPad the room provided was GIGANTIC and worked wonderfully. The location was a 10/10!"
