Hotel Barcelo di Semenanjung Yucatan

"We were at this resort for our honeymoon 15 years ago. This time around we came with low expectations. The service, food, main pool area and specifically the kids pool exceeded our expectations. Where the resort lacks is night entertainment. The shows start at 930 pm and just don’t live up to the expectations. I think they can do better. Also the MJ show. The backup dancers did a better job than the Michael himself. It was unfortunate. The best, ABSOLUTE BEST SHOW was the IL DIVO!!!!!!...

"This was our second time at Maya Riviera and we are already making plans to bring our kids with us next time to one of the other Maya Grand resorts on the complex. The rooms was clean and well cared for, service was great, and all of the employees are very kind and helpful. The only downfalls we had this time around was that the pools were colder (I’m a freeze baby) and we had reservations for water activities cancelled due to wind changes that we don’t learn about until we walked all the way...
