"Rooms had everything you needed and lots of activities on property to do (hiking, pool, restaurant.) It was easy to get into the Banff town with the shuttle available, however it does fill up quickly so get there early."

"Très bien situé dans la ville de Banff. On peut se promener à pied dans le village. Le personnel est très accueillant et aidant. L’hôtel est propre et la chambre a répondu à nos besoins. La cuisinette nous a permis de déjeuner dans la chambre. Je le recommande à tous."

"This property is special, beautiful views and hospitality is high from the staff, but the individual rooms are pretty run down and years behind on upkeep. You’ll see animals on-property, so there are trades to be made on accommodations, but it’s close to town and busses are easy out front."

Douglas Fir Resort and Chalets
"Wonderful stay. Definitely an older hotel but great to stay in. Only hiccup was my teenager were not impressed with having to have an 18+ to accompany them to the pool. The 16 year old is old enough to drive! They should be allowed in the pool unaccompanied by an adult."
