"The hotel is very clean and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful. We were that happy we booked in on our return journey from Devon. The hotel faces the Victoria Square Garden, with a short walk through the garden you’re into Clifton village. There’s restaurants and shops within walking distance. Also the bus stop is outside the hotel, where the No8 takes you into the city, and the return stop is also outside the hotel. I would recommend staying here ! "

"Such a beautiful apartment with everything you need for your stay. Very clean and welcoming, in a quiet area. The apartment is light, bright and airy. The communication is spot on and even though the apartments dont have a reception area, it only takes a phone call to address your questions. I highly recommended and will definitely be coming back. "We loved our stay, your staff is your best asset, so helpful and friendly. We ate dinner in the bar and it was excellent. The room was great, very comfortable bed, lovely toiletries from Crabtree and Evelyn, plenty of sockets and a hairdryer. All in all, a great stay. Thank you!"

"Das Hotel war klasse! Sicher ist es etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber es ist sehr sauber, originell, hat einen wunderbar englischen Flair, steckt voller Überraschungen. Die Mitarbeiter sind alle sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Sie setzen sich außergewöhnlich ein für ihre Arbeitsstelle. In der Umgebung des Hotels ist viel los. Viele Restaurants, Flohmärkte, kleine Geschäfte. Bristol scheint viele Probleme zu haben: die Straßen sind marode, es gibt keine Abfalleimer, viele arme Menschen bitten...

"The hostel is in a great setting and we had a great time from check-in the staff were great and very friendly .The bar area is relaxed with lovely local beers and even had a local band playing their own tunes it was fantastic.The food too was great with deals too . Some items could do with some tlc, desk in room was very badly scratched and the bath/shower seal was a bit murky, also only 2 small milks in the tea tray seems very miserly, but was able to get more at reception easily enough. Staff friendly and helpful, breakfast had plenty of variety, comfortable beds."
