"We came to hike in the park and when we had a 100% rain and fog day, we were so happy to have such a comfortable home away from home for downtime. We stayed in one of the new cabins and it had everything we needed. The bonus was the resident cat Lucky who we met up with a few times during our stay. "We really enjoyed our one night stay here, chosen due to its close proximity to the ferry terminal to Stewart Island. The breakfast was just right and included cooked eggs. Sami was a great host and went above and beyond to accommodate parking requirements and even dropped us at the ferry the morning of our trip. We had slight issues with the carpet being wet (from the shower - previous occupants not using the shower mat) and there was no body wash left, but the views were spectacular and we...
