"We found the Cozy Retreat very comfortable. Our room and private bath were very nice. We had cofffee in the morning at the shared kitchen but saw no other guests. It was a good fit for us."

"The room was clean, linens nice, the very small fridge was not functioning, the gent who booked us in after having to phone was very pleasant, the view over the hedges to the water was lovely…unfortunately, the “what I call snake grass , was growing in the hedges and not removed..I did pull some to improve our view. This property has potential but needs detail attention. For example why not provide guests with 4 dairy creamers in the fridge (but it needs to be working) for morning use…nothing...

"Check in was easy. The front door and the room had a key code so there was no need for keys or key cards. There is a little shoe storage area when you walk in for your shoes. The property left us snacks and water for our room when we checked in, and even offered additional bottles of water the next day. There is a nice bathroom and a decent sized closet in the room we were in, with a large window and a balcony. These may not be available with the other rooms at the property I'm not sure, I...

"Quaint, clean and well situated . Enjoyed staying in a piece of victorian character. Staff were friendly , helpful and the breakfast was great."

"My wife and I stayed 3 nights. The first two nights, no one else was there. We had the hot tub to ourselves. Very nice. Self check-in was very easy, bed was comfy and the room had everything we needed (fridge, microwave, toaster, dishes). Close to several restaurants, but setback from street and very quiet at night. 100% recommend (and no kids allowed!)."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was tastefully updated, clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed in the kitchen, the bed was comfortable and it was spacious for my wife and me. The shared outdoor space was immaculate and we enjoyed a morning of swimming off the docks and reading in the hammocks. The climate control in the room worked efficiently and quietly. Ed’s coffee shop next door was cute and convenient. Our stay felt like a home away from home. Thanks for a great time!"
