"I was very pleased with the cleanliness and conditions of the motel. Looks like all the rooms have been upgraded in recent years and the parking lot was recently repaved. It all just looks clean and tidy. It's rare that I find a motel or AirBnB with clean floors but this motel had them. Often times i have to keep socks or sandals on the entire time I'm in a place due to sticky or dirty floors. My room at Swiss Chalet did not require this and the bottom of my feet were clean. Maybe seems minor...

"Very clean, fully renovated and modern. The rooms are big with kitchenet and a big TV. A nice balcony with patio furniture was a plus. Great location, walkable to main street, park, river and restaurants. Front desk lady was very welcoming. I mentioned some hair on the floor and they cleaned whole room right away. Checking and check out was fast."

"Nicely updated property close to shops and restaurants. Room was very spacious with comfortable king bed and very nice finishes and personal touches. Would stay again. "

"Tap in bathtub wouldn’t turn off; I wouldn’t even tough the stair railings, they were so dirty. Holes in walls, torn wallpaper. A/C unit was so loud that it shook the bed. Continental breakfast was a joke - no fruit, no yogurt- just bread for toast and 3 choices of cereal. Coffee was in the tiniest carafe, and tasted like tar. The staff, however, were lovely; easy check in, friendly staff. Easy to park, easy checkout. The staff were the only good thing about my stay, sadly."

"We stay here when travelling. It is clean, comes with breakfast and is convenient. We changed our dates almost last minute and it was fine"

"Liked the cute cabin like feel of the motel and has a lot of potential to be good again. The room and beds were clean but room definitely needs some upgrades and there was way too much and awkward old furniture in the rooms. Was a place to sleep but no draws to want to stay again. "
