"The Staff is excellent. The breakfast was limited but of good quality. My main issue was the bathroom situation. It might be fine in a suite, but the king bedroom situation was substandard. The house is lovely and I expect that this B & B is pretty much what you should expect in terms of price in Pacific Grove. It is an expensive area of CA and things cost more. "

"Staying at Merritt House was an all around good experience and I would definitely stay again. There were four of us traveling together and we slept comfortably in room 1 on two queen beds. We all agreed the room could use the following amenities: hooks and a table! It would be helpful to have more hooks to hang towels and clothes and a table would come in handy for eating, game playing, etc. The breakfast room was lovely and included coffee, tea, bagels, cinnamon toast, hard boiled eggs, yogurt,...
