"I’m not sure why this place gets five stars. It definitely has that classic Victorian haunted mansion vibe…which is a plus if you’re into ghosts and antique draftiness. "The room was so clean and it was so beautiful. We stayed in “ The cottage “ and the view was beautiful. The property clean as well. The location was perfect to walk around and so close to the beach. The breakfast was supper good as well. They had a breakfast special and then three other options if you didn’t want the special. Staff was supper friendly and the property was very safe, quiet, and well maintained."

"I am a woman who often travels alone. This place was absolutely adorable. The room was super clean and comfortable - especially the bed. Best mattress I've slept on in forever. Parking was right outside my room door I felt very safe and it was so close to Fisherman's Wharf where I went to two consecutive days for whale watching trips. I would absolutely recommend 100%. Will definitely stay there again."
