"Booked online. Information indicated rooms in the main property. When we arrived, we were actually in a hotel across the street called Windsor House operated by Christopher Wren. I addressed with desk staff and the only explanation was that it was a Christopher Wren operated property-one of several buildings in the area. No explanation as to why that was not disclosed in the advertisement or the booking. Should have been a much lesser price. Room overlooked an alley or something similar. ...

"Amenities are very good. Sauna, Steam room and Family swimming. However, not so soundproof. People stamping and running around on corridors. Group gym starts early and you can hear the music from even 2 floors up. Paid extra for comfort but seems like it was better off booking at Travelodge, at least I expect less. Shower poorly maintained. Mould formation on the. shower."

"The room was large, even with a kids bed in it. Pool was ok but changing rooms and general decor were a little bit “old school”. Free mini-bar included 1 bottle of milk and a Diet Coke; plenty of snacks but no alcoholic drinks in the mini bar."

"Excellent staff, very helpful and polite. The only problem I had was that drawing the curtains in my room was very challenging as the rings on the curtain pole didn’t glide smoothly and you had to wrench the curtain closed and open. Food was excellent and the room was quiet overlooking a peaceful garden. A good 4 out of 5."

"The copper castle was an amazing place to stay, clean, comfortable, staff were amazing, children loved the animals and collecting egg's from the chickens in the morning. Owner's were very helpful and accommodating, will definitely be coming back for another stay."

"Loved this inn? The building is over 500+ years old & therefore comes with the quirks of a very old place. That does give it character but you need to know what your are getting into. There are steep stairs & unlevel floors. All the things we love but it is not for everyone. The breakfast was great & the staff are outstanding. Location also outstanding."

"Amazing property, great access to train station, eateries, Windsor castle and everything Windsor has to offer. Rooms were a great size with good amenities. No lift but the stairs were not a problem even on the top floor."
