"The room was clean and on the small side. It is situated across the street from Saranac Lake. We liked the fact that they had areas to sit outside the rooms and also a couple gazebos . It was quiet and a great place to relax after an active day."

"YOU MUST STAY! I went with my husband, son, his wife, their 10yo son and 3yo daughter. We had a second floor bedroom and a third floor bedroom. The bedrooms (3 floors), tea/coffee room, all bathrooms, additional sitting rooms and basement (full functioning kitchen, rec room, laundry and bathroom) were all clean and tidy. They were renovating, so the porches were a bit messy from supplies, but still relaxing and comfortable. There was a firepit outside. They had complimentary coffee, hot...

"The property is old, the docks are run down . The shower didn't drain, I had water over my ankles . No internet or TV. Told by staff we could not use the pool. This is the 2nd time staying here, we will not be giving this property another chance"

"Hotel itself was nice and supposedly non-smoking facility. However, room smelled if smoke and guests were smoking right outside the entrance and not 25 feet away as posted. Will not stay here again for that reason "

"The house is a good place to stay if you need ample room and want a quiet retreat in Saranac Lake. Its not on the water but within a short drive of downtown and the lakes. If you have mobility issues this isn’t the place for you as the stairs to the second floor are very steep and there are floor level changes. The house manager should, I think, mark the floor level changes with bright tape because it takes a while to remember where they are. The house is pleasant and cosy and we enjoyed staying...
