"We stayed for two nights 4th and 5th June as we were attending a wedding elsewhere on 5th June. The first night was fine but on the morning of the 5th the hotel advised we would have to move rooms as they had a wedding at the hotel and the bridegroom had specifically asked for the room we were staying in. We agreed to pack our stuff up and the hotel would move to the alternative room when we left for our wedding at 1.30. All through the morning we kept getting calls from reception asking when...

"Loved it! The hotel very kindly accommodated our request for a room with a shower instead of a bath. Lovely courtyard room, which was very quiet despite the outdoor seating area for the bistro being very close. Good bar with very friendly staff. The area was ideal for exploring Henley. Just around the corner from the river and the rowing course, and around another corner to the main shopping/eating/drinking areas. Would definitely stay again. "We booked this property because it was very close to a venue we were attending a wedding at, I had booked three rooms and requested one room to be a twin, despite me telephoning twice to check, but when we checked in it was still made up as a double, but it was quickly rectified.
