"The room was spacious and clean! Bedding was very nice and comfortable. The location was central and close to the Opera House which was the reason for our visit. We did have a hard time finding a restaurant close by after the performance and ended up eating next door to the hotel at Mel's. Not exactly a meal to remember but it honestly wasn't bad. Parking garage was very convenient and dare I say affordable at $49 with in/out priledges. I would definitely stay at the Courtyard location again! "

"We had a wonderful stay at the Castle Inn from the efficient check in and hassle free check out. The room was clean and spacious. The location is also close to restaurants, bars and grocery market. I would stay there again and recommend it. Parking is also included and a bonus. "

"Such a fun one-night staycation at the legendary Phoenix Hotel. Cool sexy room, warm dip in the iconic pool and fun in the courtyard with friends. With the history of the Phoenix and being a local musician, it had a lot of meaning to stay there. I hope someone keeps it going in January! "

"This motel is a great deal $ for SF. Our room (and presumably all others) are newly renovated and super clean. The bathroom is especially nice with a giant walk in shower. The beds were great. If I were to stay here again, I would ask for a room at the back as the rooms facing Lombard are very noisy. Adding black out curtains to the rooms would go a long way to absorb some of the sound. "The remodeled rooms are excellent. Tasteful furnishings, silent climate control, cordial, efficient staff, secure parking, very comfortable bed. Two very minor issues: Motels still do not give you a soft pillow option. I prefer down or down-like. I found a long, black hair on the floor in the bathroom - housekeeper or guest (definitely not mine!)"
