"This is a small and unique property, with a very welcoming staff. It is a "throw back" to the times when hotels were a special place and not a chain commodity. The rooms were large and well appointed. The hotel is close to the Vieux Carre, but far enough away from the madness of Bourbon Street. Our room had the best hotel shower ever - which says a lot about the quality of the property in general. I would not hesitiate to stay there again."

"This is a great place close to some great restaurants and bars, quiet and still walking distance to Bourbon street. The concierge and manager were extremely helpful as I had left my IPad behind at the hotel and they shipped it to me free of charge! I give this place 7 stars and we will be back here next time we are in New Orleans, hopefully soon."

"This place really thinks of everything to make you comfortable, I do wish they had a lobby though where I can meet guests before we go explore, it is more of a large bar and often full. Everything else is absolutely fantastic."

"We had a nice stay at the Hyatt House. Kristin at the front desk was wonderful! The room was a nice size, the bed comfy and the room amenities were perfect for our stay. The price per night was fair and everyone was friendly. If you have to use the parking garage I thought that price was pretty high, but we just used Lyft for our transportation needs."

"Overall it was a good stay besides they charged me $41.84 twice for breakfast but at check in they told me it was included and just had to pay gratuity. Once I brought it up while checking out the guy at the front desk caught attitude and refused to reimburse."
