"Horrible place DO NOT STAY THERE We got there and there were dogs everywhere some of them looked aggressive front desk guy couldn’t find our reservation we contacted Expedia they took care of it we go back to the front desk a young guy that didn’t know anything told us there were no rooms that eventough it showed online they had rooms available in reality they didn’t. "My second stay here and did not disappoint. The room was very clean. Staff, especially Julia, was very welcoming and pleasant. Great stay!"

"Overall, the place was very nice and quiet. Staff was attentive and check-in was very quick. Breakfast was a typical breakfast that most hotels have. Yogurts fruit, waffles, eggs, and cereal. The only knock I could put against his hotel and it’s a small one is that it is a little outdated. The carpeting in the room was worn and some of the wallpaper was peeling. I would stay here again though. "

"The bathroom wall had damage from a past issue. The repair required drywall patching, which only had the first coat of drywall mud on it. It looked terrible and I could not believe that they would re-install the towel rack over it and consider it rentable. They did offer another room but it should have never gotten to that. No ice maker worked and you had to get ice from the restaurant."

"Die Zimmer sind gut ausgestattet, allerdings etwas klein. Wir sind mit 2 großen Koffern angereist und hatten etwas wenig Platz. Das Personal ist top! Sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Leider haben wir etwas spät erst gesehen, dass die Reinigung nur auf direkte Anfrage erfolgt. Ein Hinweis an der Rezeption beim Checkin wäre hilfreich gewesen. Ansonsten alles super. Wie typisch für die größeren Städte in den USA ist die Umgebung recht laut. Die Lage ist ideal zum erkunden der Stadt :)"

"House staff didn't come in to refresh towels and make up beds. Didn't know that they didn't do this daily. Front desk was friendly on check in. Kitchen staff was just going thru the motions. overall condition of floors and carpets look as if they need a good cleaning. carpets in lobby, hallways and the couch in lobby were very dirty. much dirtier than 6 months ago when we stayed."

"Lovely room - very spacious. Comfortable, big bed. Shower had good water pressure which was nice. Didn’t use many of the amenities as we were there for sight seeing but lobby/bar was very nice, had a quick drink there. Only downside was the coffee they offered in the morning was very expensive and tasted awful. They should offer free coffee or if they’re going to charge that much, should offer options for better flavors (creamers, syrups etc). "

"We got an early check in that allowed us to go to the museums earlier than anticipated. Staff were always smiling and polite. Restaurant, though limited menu, had wonderful food. Rooms clean, beds comfy. Walking distance ro National Mall, White House, and the metro makes this a great location. Lots of conveniences just steps from the hotel. Amazing place to stay at an affordable rate, will be back. "
