"I'll be honest. I was expecting a lot more from this hotel. You can't approach the rooms without walking through sand and with your feet covered in sand, there is nowhere to wash your feet outside of your room. In other words, we had sand all over our floor everyday. The water pressure was absolutely horrible in the showers. You turn the shower on at full blast and all you get is a mere trickle. "We just completed our 5-day stay at Maria's Kan Kin in Isla Mujeres, and it was wonderful. This is a beautiful, quiet boutique hotel with amazing breakfasts included in the room rate.
