"Unfortunately i can't give a n honest opinion of the Hampton Suites, as there was a problem with my booking. I'm not sure if it was Expedia's fault, or that of the property's, but when i arrived to collect the keys from the nearby Crowne Plaza as instructed, i was told that the property was undergoing maintenance and i should not have been allowed to book it in the first place(i had booked it two months prior). This was particularly frustrating as i have sent an email only days before my arrival...

"No Parking close by to drop off luggage. Treacherous, steep downhill path through a park to take several heavy suitcases. Incredibly poor communication from the property, who in the first instance did not respond for over a week to our request for an early check in. e repeatedly asked host for check in details,and we eventually got them on the day of check in only 15 minutes before scheduled (normal) check in time, at which time we were already at the weddding of my daughter, having travelled...

"Edwina was a welcoming host! Nothing was too much trouble! Made sure we always had what we need! Accommodating our American car! Fabulous fresh cooked breakfast! Room was lovely which was cleaned daily. The best shower pressure! Tea coffee, water and juice in the room. Great location, walking distance to Esher town centre and the Racetrack! "This is our third stay at the Alexander Pope Hotel in Twickenham. We had a gorgeous huge top floor room with windows on three sides, chairs and sofa with a cozy nook for coffee.
