Apartemen di Kawasan Madeira

"Die Wohnung war in sehr gutem Zustand und es war alles da, was man so braucht, incl. Waschmaschine. Highlight ist natürlich die Lage mitten in der Altstadt von Funchal. In unserer Wohnung war davon aber kaum was zu hören. Gleich neben an ist das dazugehörige wirklich gute Restaurant, worüber auch der Check In abgewickelt wird. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Einziger kleiner Wehrmutstropfen ist, dass es bei starkem Regen einmal durch die Decke getopft hat - da ist wohl irgenwar undicht....

"Very good sized apartment in a good location, within walking distance to the marina, old town, restaurants and a nearby shopping centre with a supermarket. Simple check in process via a door code. Very quiet in the evenings. The shower is large but due to the set up the water does spill over as there is no shower door. The apartment got warm which was ok in April with the plug in fan but would likely be too hot in the summer with no air con"

"Excellent location in old Funchal. Very close to Harbor front and to museums, shops, services. Although there are no staff on site, check in was smooth, and we felt secure with the locked doors we had to go through to keep residents safe. For the most part, we had timely responses to queries to staff if we had questions hotel/room/airport transportation as needed. "

"Great sized apartment, amazing location! Super central and walkable! Some issues with communication from the staff regarding whether the unit had a safe. We were told twice that there was one and then upon arrival, no safe. Fully equipped kitchen and having the top unit with the terrace was lovely to relax. One big issue throughout the apartment was the smell and humidity within it. You notice it everytime you enter and it is very unpleasant. Yes, Madeira is an island and it is humid, however...

"The apartment had everything that was needed for a comfortable stay, however, it is worth noting that it is on a -1 floor so there is no natural daylight into the apartment. No daylight in the morning or evening can be a bit much for a week. Also, check the correct details are sent to you if you require parking as the original mail we had the instructions were missing from for how to get into the car park so had to pay 20 euros for the first night. "When we arrived the entire flat was toxic- it smelled of paint fumes.it was late on a Sunday so we opened all of the windows and assumed that perhaps something was painted earlier in the day. The next day we went out early and found that a painter had painted our door frame with oil based paints and painted the trim in the hallway of the flats and did not ventilate anything. We asked him to stop, wrote to the manager who said he would speak with management but each day of our stay was toxic with...

"very nice, well kept, apartment, with all the utensils, dishes, pots/pans, and appliances you could possibly want/need. staff (Elizabeth) was very responsive and helpful. lack of a deadbolt on the door was a bit of an issue, but we worked around it."
