"We were supposed to receive check in information 24 hours in advance. When we never received it I had to contact the property 3 times before they sent the codes. The room was supposed to have a’sleeper sofa’ - what it had was a cot that took up what little space we had and meant we had no comfortable place to sit. The room was incredibly noisy with constant foot falls and racket from the room above."

"Booked the room due to high reviews but had an average experience. The room was small but nicely designed and quiet despite facing the busy street. Breakfast was good and a free beer at the pub downstairs was appreciated. On the negatives the stairs/hallway smelled like fish and chips which fortunately didn’t impact the room and TV and WiFi spotty at best. Overall, a fine and convenient home base for exploring the area but won’t be a return trip for me."

"Hotel was not accessible due to power outages, guests were not allowed to enter hotel at that time. Staff was very helpful and offered complimentary breakfast for our troubles."

"Lovely hotel but has seen better days. In need of refurbishment. The A/C in our room was very weak & the shower was broken. The room was really spacious & very comfortable bed. Unfortunately our room overlooked the railway line which obviously increased the noise levels. The staff were very friendly & competent. The pool area wasn't particularly clean & the men's steam room wasn't working."

"We loved our stay here, in The Highgrove Suite. It was perfect for family of 5. We kept commenting on how spacious it was, how nice the bathrooms were, everything so clean, and so great to have a full kitchen and washer/dryer so that we didn’t have to pack as much! The staff were very kind and helpful and the 24hr staffing was very reassuring. It was so convenient to the Earls Court tube station and we quickly learned how to navigate the city. The Kensington neighborhood was completely safe...

"We stayed at this hotel for six nights, and unfortunately our experience with housekeeping and customer service was extremely disappointing. Starting from our third night, we repeatedly requested that our bed sheets and duvet covers be changed. We informed the front desk multiple times on the third, fourth, and fifth days of our stay, but the bedding was never properly replaced. After several complaints, housekeeping eventually left what they claimed were clean sheets and duvet covers on top...

"Expedia was a nightmare to deal with on this honeymoon trip. Our plans were disrupted by flight cancellations, which is understandable, but the Expedia Rep said we would receive a refund for the two nights that we were stranded. After we were charged the full amount, Expedia was nowhere to be found. We’ll never use them again!!"

"A lovely hotel with some quirky and fun features. The hotel is very clean and nicely furnished. Ideal if you are visiting Royal Albert Hall or The Natural History/Science museum plus only a five minute walk to South Kensington Tube station. Room had a large TV and air conditioning plus tea and coffee making facilities, with bottles of Harrogate Spring water, biscuits and chocolates which was a nice touch. We would definitely choose to stay here again."
