"Arrived late at night and had trouble finding a car park space. Access around the building is one way but to exit you have to go through a locked gate and you need a code - as a guest who has just arrived you don't have this info. I called the hotel 3 times whilst stuck at the gate and no one answered. Luckily a guest walked past and gave me the code. Went around again but this time went in the multistorey up a level. "The property wasn’t ready when we arrived for 3pm, eventually ready at 5pm. When we arrived the fridge was not turned on so we could not refrigerate anything for several hours, the doors were left closed so when opened the fridge smelled awful & very unhygienic. Cutlery & utensils were rusty & in very poor condition. "Lovely hotel near the airport. Clean, tidy, sufficient for our needs. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Despite being near the hotel it was pleasantly really quiet and peaceful. I could not hear the planes at all. I would highly recommend. The price of room was reasonable in comparison to others in the area. The parking was at the back of the hotel and easy to use. I think this will improve once the works at the front of the hotel are completed. We ordered pizza and chips at the bar...

"The rooms here are basic but clean and comfortable so nothing to complain about. The building is aging and the rooms are showing their age but everything was functional and clean. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The best part for me was the food which was really very good with excellent presentation, decent portions and very well prepared. The waiting staff were also very attentive. Parking here, even when staying at the hotel is £30 per night which is expensive, but understandable...

"Breakfast was fine. Staff were polite, friendly and very helpful. Very disappointed that we were not advised in advance there would be major building construction at the hotel. More so right outside our window. In addition to having carpentry work on the doors with tools blocking the corridor inside. A strange phenomenon was the toilet. My wife and I both disabled found it near impossible to flush the toilet. The flushing button was difficult to access and use especially at night. "
