"Arrived late at night and had trouble finding a car park space. Access around the building is one way but to exit you have to go through a locked gate and you need a code - as a guest who has just arrived you don't have this info. I called the hotel 3 times whilst stuck at the gate and no one answered. Luckily a guest walked past and gave me the code. Went around again but this time went in the multistorey up a level. "The property wasn’t ready when we arrived for 3pm, eventually ready at 5pm. When we arrived the fridge was not turned on so we could not refrigerate anything for several hours, the doors were left closed so when opened the fridge smelled awful & very unhygienic. Cutlery & utensils were rusty & in very poor condition. "The staff were very good. the hotel itself could do with a bit of TLC. I just needed a bed to sleep in so was adequate for my needs. if you want a budget friendly hotel to stay in before heading to Manchester airport which is less than 10 minutes away this is the hotel for you. There is free wi fi but I did find it kept dropping the connection every 30 - 50 mins. there is on site paid parking at very reasonable priced, I stayed for 3 nights in the end and total of £21."
