"The friendliness, attentiveness and overall good vibes from the staff were likely the highlight of the trip. Breakfast buffet was great, lunch options by the pool were outstanding, especially Maria’s tacos and quesadillas, those were probably the best food we had during our stay! Unfortunately, dinner was not great and there’s room for improvement there in terms of quality and variety."

"The Allegro Cozumel was fantastic. The rooms were clean, the staff were so nice, especially Danna, the beach waitress. So nice, kind and helpful! I got two massages from Olga and Alexandria (sp), and they both were fantastic! Highly recommend getting a massage from either or both of these ladies. Great beach and great staff. "We just spent 8 days here and both enjoyed it very much the property is beautiful and well maintained. The food all around was very good with some buffet nights being a bit of a hit or miss but that’s depending on personal taste. The bars for the most part were pretty fast especially the adults only pool bar. The adults only pool was a nice getaway from the loud music and noisy crowd at the main pool but the pool needs to be skimmed more often as there can be quite a few leaves and bugs floating...

"The resort is in transition where they are taking what were three properties (A Sunscape that is out of business now, a Secrets, and a Dreams) and making a big Dreams resort. The spa offered hair services but there was no one to do braids for my wife so she could have them to protect her hair while we were there. We usually try to use the service to give some more business to the resort when we go. The male night conceierge on Sunday April 20 made my wife feel incredibly inconvenient when...

"Wow….been to a lot of places but this was the best ever. Pool in the back, ocean in the front, kind friendly staff, It was wonderful throughout. The only two negatives was twice there was people smoking near the public area/restaurants, I couldn’t understand this. The pillows were flat. But over all it was above and beyond in every other way."

"The rooms in a hall were very clean and the staff were very friendly. The food is OK. The grounds outside the building and around the pool are rough limestone. We have been here several times and continually wonder why they leave it like that. It’s very uneven and difficult to walk on."
