"My husband and I absolutely loved everything during our stay at the Pestana Palace. The decor was incredible with the painted ceilings and lavish architectural detailing. This historic property was one of the nicest we have ever stayed at. It was styled after Versailles in France. "Botel Baia is centrally located and we loved veing able to walk to all the shops and cafes. Waking up to views of the bay was lovely but the rooftop pool was not our favorite as it was inside what looked like a greenhouse and felt stuffy. We werent there to swim so it was OK but sometimes laying by the pool with a drink is nice and you couldnt do that there. The staff was VERY nice, especially a man at the front desk named Mathew.
