"Parking is easy and nice area"

"The location was excellent. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The room was great but there were quite a lot of steps to get to our room. Also, tea bags were provided but no kettle to boil water. Minor details in an otherwise very nice hotel."

"The whole experience with the place stood out. First, it’s conveniently located to places where we want to venture.Free parking also was the reason why we chose to stay here. It’s clean, spacious for the 5 of us. It feels homy, The rooms are big enough, beds are comfy, we used the kitchen to help us with our budget. "We did not like the first room facing the main road and busy when we asked about a quiet room. It was not a 4 star room , basic old fashioned. Then we upgraded to a delux room and we had a balcony and modern shower facilities and felt we were in a different Hotel, very nice and handy to walk on to the harbour to catch your boat trips to watch the whales if you were lucky. The Northern light trips were cancelled and you get loads of information from the lovely staff to the tour operators a minute...

"Good value, clean warm room in the heart of Reykjavík. Check in was painless and we managed to get an early check in. It is not fancy but it does meet your needs. The big positive for this property is location, very near all the main areas for restaurants and bars but tucked out the way to be quiet. I would come back here if we come to Reykjavík again. "
