"Great location in Kamakura that's near the train. There's plenty of food options nearby along with a small grocery store. Area is super quiet both during the day and night. "This hotel has a very convenient location for traveling around Tokyo. We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Metropolitan Tokyo Oimachi. We stayed in a Standard Twin Room. The room was a little small, but it was comfortable enough for us. We could open two large suitcases at the same time, although there was not much walking space left. The room was very clean, and the staff were always kind and helpful. We also tried the rooftop restaurant, and the food was delicious. The atmosphere was especially romantic and made our evening very enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Japan!"

"This hotel is extremely well situated in the city, centrally located and 1 block from the subway station that takes to every corner of the city. The amenities are simple and sensible and work for prepared travelers. The rooms are snug, so pack light, and be prepared to adjust to this style of stay across Japan. The staff were absolutely wonderful, accommodating, informed, kind and very gracious. They were knowledgeable and helped me figure out so many different issues I had while traveling. I truly appreciated their wonderful attitudes and spirit. They were all very hardworking, cheerful and funny and I would definitely stay here again."

"This was my first time staying at the Valia Hotel in Tokyo. I also stayed at the one in Osaka during my travel to Japan (2026). It is conveniently located near a train station, bus station, a major shopping mall, and theater. The room size was what I am used to back in the States. The staff were very helpful in answering questions and providing information as requested. The space was beautiful. I had requested an allergens free room, but I don't think it was since I had a hard time sleeping in the room. But, it could just have been the carpet. The airpurifier provided did help a little, but it was still a struggle. If you don't have a need for allergens free space, this hotel is for you!"
