"Due to a flight cancellation, we had to find another hotel. Three couples, they arranged us to have a three bedroom suite with common area and to give us meals. It was only one day, but it absolutely serviced our needs.
Walk to the beach, kite surfers were entertaining. Dolphin Explorer is next door.
Food was buffet, but fairly fresh and hot. Bar drinks were excellent
Only downside is that our remote didn’t work, so struggled to get the olympics. But they sent someone up quickly (couldn’t...

"We spent a week at Barcelo Barbara Palace. The service was excellent. The staff were all very friendly. The food was excellent and there was a ride variety of all types of dishes for Young and Old that you could choose from. The resort is big but well organized so it doesn’t take much to get from one area to another. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a terrific getaway for families or groups of adults. "

"This is our second time at Melia Punta Cana Beach, and we will absolutely be back again. Our trip was just as enjoyable the second time around, and they have added thoughtful improvements like a concierge available via Whatsapp for any questions or needs that arise. He checked in with us every day to ask if we needed anything, and was always offering to help with dinner reservations.
The property was clean and well maintained throughout our stay, and the staff were friendly at every turn....
