"I was looking for a convenient place to stay near Brighton, and this turned out to be an excellent choice. Communication was great throughout, with quick and helpful responses to any questions I had. The bed was very comfortable, making for a good night’s sleep, and the free on-street parking nearby was a real bonus. Overall, a very pleasant and hassle-free stay."

"Staff were lovely, as was breakfast and the bar. But the rooms and decor are the key feature of this hotel and certainly make it unforgettable. Our room and bathroom were not huge but more than adequate and comfortable. The theming of the rooms, corridors, stairways and bar area is amazing, thoughtful, creative and makes this hotel worth a stay for sure, as does the cheeky nature and sense of humour. We will likely be back just to try a different room! Thanks"

"From reception through to the waiting staff and the cleaning staff we felt welcome and valued. Our deluxe double room was pristine. Bottled water awaited us and was supplied daily, along with luxury biscuits. Special mention to Ana and Renijini (Sorry if ive mis-spelled this wonderful young woman's name) - both of these women went the extra mile to enhance our restaurant experience. We'll be back."

"Very clean, comfortable and spacious room. We had king room with sofa bed with sea view. Got a paid upgrade when we got to hotel which was not expensive. Lovely breakfast too which set us up for the day."

"Welcome was great. Staff friendly and very helpful. Lovely large room with super wet room. Breakfast was delicious and had a super view of the sea whilst eating. Area was busy but quiet both in our room and the dining area. We will most definitely visit again."

"After checking in we found the air conditioning was not working, tried to call the front desk and phone was not working, nor was the TV. Had to walk back down to reception where we were told we were pre warned about the air conditioning ( we were not!!) and there was a fan in the room- there wasn’t. The lady argued saying there was and said in regards to the phone not working- most hotels don’t have phones anymore anyway. When she came to our room, she finally agreed we indeed did not have a...

"No staff on site but as expected. Door codes worked as indicated, although knowing the bedroom door needed a key which was stored on the ground floor would've been good to know before climbing four flights of stairs. More like shared housing with individual rooms than a hotel - could hear all the plumbing and foot movements of the room next door. Fine for an overnight stay. "

"The hotel needs updating but shower was clean and working fine. Staff were really helpful, there’s a self serve breakfast. I’m disabled and they helped me with everything. My sink would rain but they dealywith it straight away. It’s close to all amenities and the beach. It was a reasonable price. I would stay there again"

However the hotel looks very tired - my room had broken fixtures & sockets, ripped dated furniture, and no hot water in the morning. The bar had ants crawling over trays & cat vomit on the carpet. "No parking as advertised. Staff were very casual - often sat on their phones on the sofa round the corner from the front desk. There was nowhere to hang the shower hose. It was just loose over the bath. They did fix it once I told them, but I would've expected it to have been addressed before my arrival.
