"Great value for the price, the room was clean, didn’t see a single bug (big seller for me!!), and the staff was helpful and respectful. Great for solo travelers, the room had an air conditioner and provided a wonderful, central rest stop while spending most of the time adventuring around the city."

"Honestly a great location and everything you need a a few days in the city! We got the “city view” room and I would recommend! Not too tiny and well lit - our only complaint was the elevator taking a little long when busy but that’s something I can overlook in the future."

"We had a great stay at the maritime hotel. Great staff, and the room had great western views towards the Hudson (small sliver of a view of the river) and a few fantastic buildings by Heatherwick, BIG, Nouvel, and Gehry….all from our little porthole window. Breakfast was a little underwhelming, mainly cheap croissants, but the coffee was good enough. The west village is one of the best places to stay in the city and we would happily stay here again."

"Lovely hotel with breakfast included! A real bonus and great start to the day. We booked a room with a city view and wow what a view. This hotel was perfectly placed for us to use as a base for sight seeing with the subway nearby. Would definitely book again - I wouldn't trawl through other hotels, I'd go straight for it. It had everything we needed. Really nice hotel and great value for money!"

"This was the worst experience we’ve had. I booked two rooms next to each other for our large family and they were not close to each other. When we got in the room both beds sheets were dirty. There was literally something nasty attached to one sheet and when i told the hotel they said they will send up a new sheet. We had to make the bed etc, they had an attitude and didn’t care at all. The worst of it was our bathroom was infested with MOLD. They knowingly booked us a room in this condition....

"Clean overall. Restaurant off lobby is very limited and offers much the same as rooftop bar. Rooftop was great. Highly recommend but make sure to reserve seating. Can always sit at the bar though. Great location. 26th st is loaded with bars snd restaurants as you walk eastward."
