"Walking distance to everything downtown, cozy comfortable clean rooms. Parking lot has enough spaces but it's kind of tight driving through with a pickup truck. If you're on the second floor, you have to carry everything up the stairs."

"One of the worst hotels I have stayed at. Was old and tired and dirty and smelly. Terrible choice to stay there. Holes in curtains. Dirty coffee machine. Bathroom stunk of drainage. Floors in bedroom stunk of disinfectant and were sticky. "

"Kind owners/keepers, overall clean property, just minor issues with left over tape on the wall from what I imagine decorations that were there previously, some dirt smudges on the paint around window and coffee maker did not work. Still fine for an overnight stay, quiet overall and safe location. Comfortable beds, but too high for little ones as there is hard floor and the beds are higher than normal. Good location."

"Great location; easy to get to downtown Monterey, and to Carmel, Highway 1, Point Lobos, Big Sur, etc. There is a Trader Joe's 2 blocks away and many services close by. The room was clean and nicely decorated, with a large comfortable bed. The room was small, but pleasant and had everything we needed, including a small refrigerator. "Das Hotel war für drei Tage in Ordnung. Das Zimmer hat immer etwas chemisch gerochen und der Geruch ging auch nicht weg. Es gab recht wenig große Parkplätze, viele wurden für Compact Autos reserviert (es gab nur zwei Truck Parkplätze). Das Hotel liegt direkt gegenüber einer kleinen Mall mit Restaurants und einem Wholefoods. Man kann innerhalb von 30 Minuten zu Fuß ins Zentrum von Monterey laufen."

"We stopped here on a whim as we were driving down the coast and couldn't have been more pleased. It is a beautiful property and well situated for exploration of Monterey and the surrounding area, both on foot and by car. The staff was absolutely lovey and the evening happy hour and breakfast were first class. We will definitely stay again!"
