"We arrived in time for early entry on day 1 but still had to queue so had to queue to get through security etc. A handful of rides were open but they did include croc drop and mandrill so we quickly did those and then waitied for Dragons Fury which opened on time. Lunch at the BBQ restaurant was expensive for what it was but this is common at most parks. Our room was ready by 2.30pm so we went abd checked in a bit early. The room was ok. "The room was clean, today and warm even if a little dated. The staff (Charles) on the second morning was very attentive and friendly. Perfect location for the horse racing event at Sandown and access to the train for a trip to London too. "

"Not quite as good as it used to be. Well located and comfortable bed. But the TV was a nightmare to work, didn't seem to follow any logic and stuck on certain channels more than once. The shower I've commented on before, you have to get in and out of the bath and for older people it is a difficult step. There needs to be a grab handle located to assist this. "Beautiful room, comfortable bed, big size compared to most accommodations. Responsive customer service, but miscommunication with the information provided by Expedia and the property. No room cleaning and change of bedding. The common area wasn't very clean either, but they always provided coffee, tea, milk and cereal. Silence most of the time, I had a long stay and only one day there was a problem with a smoker. The management solved the issue promptly and safely."

"Check in for this property was at the Crowne Plaza Hotel on the same street. I parked in their car park for 10 minutes to check in. For this I received a parking fine, which unbelievably has been upheld despite my providing the details of my reservation and their own record of my being in the car park for 10 minutes. This is a first for me, being fined by the hotel I am checking into. I was not asked to register my car at check in, no doubt because there was separate parking for the apartment...
