"The hotel was ok, the lobby was beautiful and the staff at the desk were extremely nice and helpful. Once you went out the doors toward the rooms it was just ok. Rooms were tiny, meaning in the bathroom you could not open the door past the toilet as it would hit, so you had to come in close the door to get to the shower. No place to sit in the main area comfortably to relax, love seat available but cushions would slide out when you sat. Once you returned to your room at the end of the day it...

"Well first....I guess I was under the impression for the cost and the rating...there would be less wear and tear.. Yes the bed was nice....maybe a bottle of water and more than a single kleenex would have been nice... I know food is expensive but a toast and coffee that was complimentary would have been a nice gesture. Your hot tub was not operating but your front end staff wasn't aware as they gave directions to it. I know most people who travel don't watch TV.. but I found only 4...

"Well located with large well equipped rooms - this hotel is a throwback to a long gone era. Vaulted cedar ceiling, with a small kitchen and comfy beds. It was a comfortable friendly place to stay for 2 nights in Canmore."

"This hotel is in a beautiful setting with a gorgeous backdrop of the scenery in the area. I'm so happy that I was able to treat my family to a comfortable stay in beautiful lodgings. Accommodations were very comfortable and the room so spacious and clean. The loft sleeping area provided privacy and quiet while others could enjoy activities on the lower level. And the master bathroom - amazing!!!"

The first room we were allotted came with a broken window, damaged and scratched furniture, not a single lamp shade was able to maintain its proper position, plug ins (as few as they were) did not work, bathroom sink was discusting and there was hair in the shower curtain (didn’t know until the morning), phone didn’t even work to be able to call a bell person to assist us with our luggage as we planned to leave. "The staff was great and very helpful, the pool and slide was such a brilliant addition! The parking was easy and complementary and the location just lovely. The only thing that we could hear everything that was going on in the hall, in the lobby, and on the upper floor, even tiny chair shift. And everywhere around was construction so we couldn’t really enjoy time on the balcony as we wished we would. But overall we enjoyed our stay!"
