"The room is clean but a little dated. Beds are comfortable. Breakfast is great. Long line up for drinks at pool. Not a lot of dinner options . The staff are very friendly and helpful. Loved the beach area."

"The poolside seating is amazing with free cushy lounge chairs with shades. First come first served and no extra cost. The rooms were amazing, spacious with lots of storage for suitcases, a mini fridge, huge shower with such great water pressure and a mirror in the shower. Double sinks and a private toilet room and we had a fair size patio. The beds were so comfortable with the perfect pillows, 2 hard and 2 soft. The design of these rooms and the extra details in this hotel is fabulous. I could live here for quite awhile and have absolutely no cons except the street noise as it’s right on a major highway. Just ask to be as far from the highway as you can get and put in some ear plugs."

"The staff was great. The breakfast was good for this type of hotel. In the room, there was not Little refrigerator, so for the water it was tough. Because in Puerto Vallarta you need to buy bottle of water. This was not convenient."

"The resort was great for the kids. The beach is very beautiful and ocean is great here. Lots of beach vendors selling you stuff all day long which can get a bit annoying after a while. The hotel is dated but nice. The resort is open for day passes so gets very busy in the pools and restaurants / bars. "

"This was a clean hotel and staff was excellent. Rooms were on the older side and in need of a renovation. The food was excellent mostly Mexican with a few Canadian dishes and drinks yummy. Beach is a short walk and though we were asked several times an hour to purchase items. Usually a simple no gracias works. Never had an issue getting beach chairs or pool chairs. Beach bar tenders were excellent. We liked this hotel for the price and what we received. It was a lower cost all inclusive that had only one a la cart. However it gave us the opportunity to experience wonderful restaurants in the area. "

"The Marriott is a terrific resort. The staff are excellent and the restaurants delicious. We only had one issue. We booked a 3rd floor room and were given a 9th floor then an 8th floor room. One of our guests is terrified of heights so was uncomfortable in that room but we were told there were no other rooms available. Booked through Expedia. Next time will confirm through hotel which floor we’re on. "
