"Very clean and beautiful room, we were in the new tower, so everything was brand new and updated. Food in the restaurants were very good. The staff is very attentive and very friendly. Only 16 floors and a small layout for a resort so easy to get around. Beautiful views from every room. Would definitely recommend!"

"Such a hidden gem. This place is more than a stay. It's an experience. Things to note are that you have to take a small boat to reach the property so pack light. The nature and beach are beautiful. The rooms are comfortable, clean and the perfect blend of shelter and being one with nature. The restaurant on site is superb with quality organic ingredients that create art on a plate. Staff is friendly, approachable and super helpful. Can't wait to come back. "

"This is an excellent hotel to stay at in puerto vallarta. We had a medical issue during our stay and the staff went out of there way to help us. The location is near to shopping and a beautiful walk along the beach. I would definitely go back."

Each seemed to be willing to help with learning Spanish. Our stay overlapped the fallout from El Mencho’s attempted capture and death. "This is our third time staying at Melia Puerto Vallarta, and we love it. We had a little trouble when we got to Melia the first day, they give us a room away from our group and there was some noise because of the remodeling they had going on, after we spoke to the receptionist they give us a different room, bigger and it looked like it was recently remodeled. Great staff all of them super nice, from receptionist, waitress, entrainment crew everyone was so nice. Great food. I love Melia for sure...
