"Such an amazing Riad with such helpful staff. They went above and beyond for us in every way. So kind and attentive. We had issues with the AC on our room on the last night and it was no issue for them to give us a new room (which was actually bigger) so we could sleep in comfort. Amazing location in the Souks, close to everything you would need in Marrakech. Clean property, everything was fantastic. Would stay again"

"Yes its a beautiful resort! Rooms are amazing and housekeeping team is top notch-shout out to Helmy and Mohammad on the 19th floor! Front desk were also helpful and smiley! But the service level anywhere else is not representative of a Rixos level! Staff at the buffet, restaurants , bars are clearly not happy working there and it shows in how they deal with customers. At the buffet i asked to get help finding a place for 4 the answer i got was find it yourself. Several in between employees...

"Enjoyed the waterpark. Food buffet was hectic - never any glasses available, and all had stomach aches from food. Room was perfect to stay in and light and spacious. Plug didn’t work but maintenance came round asap. Toilet was falling off wall and shower door didn’t close. Al a bit tired. Did go there for the waterpark however and this did deliver"

Prior to my arrival, I was notified that my reservation would be moved to accommodate my delayed baggage. I was specifically assured by an Expedia customer service representative that the necessary arrangements had been made and that the issue would be resolved when I arrived at Hotel Riu Palace Swahili. "The Sofitel has great common areas and pool. They had a few restaurants but would have liked a coffee shop or quick serve cafe. The rooms were ok but a bit dated and the beds were not comfortable. Staff were all pleasant but no one went above and beyond. Location is also pretty good and the property itself is large. The best part really is the pool area. It’s a solid 4 star hotel but not a 5 star luxury."
