I booked for 2 and noticed day before departure that the booking had somehow changed to a booking for 1 person, but at the same price for two! "Excellent staff and hosting unfortunately the lobby bar was under renovations at the time but the beach bar was more than adequate. The beach was well kept as well as the pool area and bartenders with the bar side pool. The breakfast buffet while very diverse with a lot of choices was a bit on the pricey side. Easy walk to shopping across the street taxi stand just outside of the hotel to get a taxi anywhere on the island. Beautiful beach beautiful sunsets from this area as well."

" The room was clean and modern and very comfortable but my favorite was the bed. It was super comfortable; so much so that it felt like I was sleeping on air. The staff were also super helpful. The shuttle was an added bonus. I did not take the shuttle to the hotel and our taxi driver got lost. So make sure you let the hotel know your arrival details so that the shuttle would be available. "Amazing beach. Easy to get deckchair and staff bring out unbrella for you. Restaurant nice though Pizza's could be better. Really nice atmosphere and doesn't feel crowded. Nice 5k run right along beach then along quiet road to Castaway's at end (great restaurant opposite). Would prefer complementary bottle of red/white instead of bubbly. "Good location with plenty of choices to eat and drink within walking distance. Supermarket nearby. Rooms are a generous size, a little dated but clean and bed is comfortable. Excellent air conditioning. Lovely pool area with enough sun loungers when I was there. Direct access to beach. Bar and restaurant located by the pool, food reasonable and not overpriced. Staff were friendly, some smiled more than others but not rude. Certainly a reasonable place to enjoy Barbados from. "
